Post 2020 machines signal error conditions with audible or visual codes which are included in the table below.

Error conditions are signaled by blinking of the “information light” next to the power button of the machine and the firmware LED on the logic board.

High priority codes will be accompanied by audible beeping of the same pattern.

Operation Modes

Two general operation modes can be differentiated:

  • Normal operation is indicated by:
    1/2 second on

Fault Codes

The pulses in error condition indicate an eight-bit binary error-code with:

  • short pulse = 0 which is 1/4 second long
  • long pulse = 1 which is 1 second long

An emergency stop button has been depressed. This is not strictly an error condition.

The pendant is missing or malfunctioning.

The y-axis has encountered an encoder limit.

Platen device fault. The platen has encountered an error and is in a faulted state.

Rotary device fault. The rotary has encountered an error and is in a faulted state.
