Turn off the machine
Before performing this installation, ensure that the Micro-Vu system is turned off.
Toggle the rear power switch into the off position.
Enable the ADIO E-Stop
The ADIO E-Stop enable switch is located on the Logic Board, as shown on the right.
When the switch is in the BYPASS position, the machine will not respond to the ADIO E-Stop input.
Flip this switch to the ENABLED position.
Connect external E-Stop wires to the Logic Board
The ADIO connector is located below the ADIO E-Stop enable switch, as shown in the right-side image below.
A flat-head screwdriver can be inserted into the connector slits to allow wires to be inserted and removed.
Pin 9 (ESTOP SIG) is the ADIO E-Stop input. When connected to ground (pin 10), the machine will fault.
Pin 9 and pin 10 should be connected with a normally closed switch. The ADIO E-Stop input is active while the switch is open and inactive while the switch is closed.
