Problem

InSpec displays no camera image.

InSpec Classic displays the camera image, without issues.

Troubleshooting A

  1. Attempt to reconnect the machine by going to Machine > Machine Library, selecting the connected machine, and clicking Connect.

Troubleshooting B

  1. Open Motorscope (Motorscope Access) and go to the testing page by clicking on View > Testing.

  2. Open the Synchronization Settings and enable the CAM1_OUT1 (Rising) sync signal.

  3. Set the LB → ZB Channel Output Trigger Mode to Periodic at 28Hz.

  4. Enable CAM1_OUT1 on Channel 1.

  5. Click Okay then click Apply Sync Settings. You should see some information counting up, indicating the triggering is active.

  1. Leave MotorScope open. Open IC Capture and connect to the machine’s camera.

  2. Apply the correct settings in the Device Properties:

    1. Enable Trigger

    2. Enable IMX Low-Latency Mode

  1. Set the correct format along the top:

    1. YUY2, 2X Skipping for color camera systems.

    2. Y800, 2X Binning for monochrome camera systems as displayed in Image ‘Step 8’.

    3. FPS to 232.06

  1. The camera should be streaming at 28 FPS. Verify the camera is live in IC Capture by e.g. shining a light into the lens.
