Checking the TP-200 Touch Probe State
This test is for Post 2020 Machines
Using https://microvu.atlassian.net/l/c/3JJpdfVN check the states of the touch probe system:
Initialize the machine in vision mode in InSpec.
Close InSpec and open MotorScope.
Go to View > Testing
Find the PI-200 section in the Sensors panel.
Manually attach a TP-200 probe module to the TP-200 body.
Set the "Trip Mode" to "Expected". Ensure that none of SYNC, HALT, or ERROR are asserted. If any of them are when the probe is not touching something, there is a hardware issue somewhere from the probe to the cable connecting the PI-200 to the logic board.
When the "Trip Mode" is set to "Expected" touch the stylus with your finger. Make sure SYNC and HALT flash.
Using the pendant joystick, slowly drive into a part. When the touch probe touches the part the machine should back off.
When finished testing, set the "Trip Mode" back to "Ignore" and remove the TP-200 probe module from the machine.
