Compatible Driver Versions for Windows 11

Specific driver versions are necessary for operating your machine properly with a specific version of InSpec Classic. Modifying drivers or updating them outside of the normal installation process may prevent the software or machine from operating properly. The driver versions listed in this article have been evaluated as working properly with the specific versions of InSpec Classic.

Certain older drivers may require disabling core isolation on Windows 11 to allow them to be loaded.

As an alternative, the following drivers can be upgraded to versions that support Windows 11:

  • USB 2.0 Cameras:

    • Okay to use on InSpec Classic 2.97.10 and InSpec Classic >2.105.

  • USB 2.0 Converter Boxes:

    • Okay to use on InSpec Classic 2.97.10 and InSpec Classic >2.105.

Follow these instructions:

  1. Make sure one of the supported versions of InSpec Classic is already installed.

  2. Download the corresponding driver zip file and unzip.

  3. Run the drvInstaller.exe installer to completion.

  4. Reboot your PC to complete the installation.

  5. Run InSpec Classic to test.
