This article lists the requirements and supported graphics cards for a PC in order to run InSpec.
This applies to P2 Machines

A graphics card from one of the supported GPU brands as well as a G3D Mark score of more than 1000 is required to run InSpec.

The website PassMark lists many graphics cards with the performance score “G3D Mark”:

Supported GPU brands are Nvidia and AMD/ATI.

The following models are examples of supported graphics cards that meet the minimum requirements:

  • AMD Radeon HD series like 5700 or better

  • Nvidia GeForce 450 or better

  • Nvidia Quadro FX4800, K1100M, 2000M, M500M or better

Intel graphics are not supported, regardless of the G3D score

The italicized names can be searched in the “Videocard Name” field on PassMark in combination with a value of 1000 for the G3D Mark in order to filter appropriate cards:

The number includes the graphics card series and model:

[>5][700] means a series newer than 5xxx and a model better than x700 from AMD Radeon HD.

[>4][50] means a graphics card series newer than 4xx and a model better than x5x from Nvidia GeForce.
