GPU Required for InSpec Classic Software
This article lists the requirements and supported GPUs for a PC in order to run InSpec.
This applies to Post 2020 Machines
A graphics card from one of the supported GPU brands as well as a G3D Mark score of more than 1000 is required to run InSpec.
The website PassMark lists many GPUs with the performance score “G3D Mark”:

Supported GPU brands are NVidia and AMD (ATI).
The following models are examples of supported graphics cards that meet the minimum requirements:
AMD Radeon HD [>5][>700]
NVidia GeForce [>4][>50]
NVidia Quadro FX4800, K1100M, 2000M, M500M or better
The number includes the graphics card series and model:
[>5][>700] means a series newer than 5xxx and a model better than x700 for AMD Radeon HD.
[>4][>50] means a series newer than 4xx and a model better than x5x for NVidia GeForce.
Intel GPUs are not supported, regardless of the G3D score.
The italicized names can be searched in the “Videocard Name” field on PassMark in combination with a value of 1000 for the G3D Mark in order to filter appropriate cards:
Note that a G3D score of 1000 is a minimum value. Hardware selected to meet but not exceed the minimum specifications should be assumed to reflect minimal workflows. If the intent is to use high-resolution / multi-monitor setups, programs with high feature counts, or visualize large, dense point clouds, the GPU should be selected to reflect these workflows by suitably exceeding the minimum specifications.
