Motor Amplifier Board LEDs and Fuses

The Motor Amplifier board is item #SC8069332 used in Vertex 261, 34X and Excel 51X, 70X, 90X, 130X, 170X, 2500 models.

Z-Axis over current LED:

  1. Green= OK.
  2. Red= Unconfigured (see status LED #6). Over current detected on axis.

Y-Axis over current LED:

  1. Green=OK.
  2. Red= Unconfigured (see status LED #6). Over current detected on axis.

X-Axis over Current LED:

  1. Green=OK
  2. Red= Unconfigured (see status LED #6). Over current detected on axis

Fuse

2A, Z-Brake Fuse.

LED Bank

24V_Main

  1. Illuminated LED indicates the machine is powered.
  2. Not illuminated indicates the machine is not powered. Could be a defective fuse #7 or defective main connector.

24_MOT

  1. Illuminated LED indicates the motors are powered.
  2. Not illuminated LED indicates failure to configure board or a fault/E-stop has occurred.

24V & 5V LOCAL

  1. Illuminated LED indicates, the board subsystems are powered and working correctly.
  2. Not illuminated LED indicates a device on the board or possibly a device connected to the board is not powered.

LED 

Status LED:

  1. If Status LED is green then the board is properly configured.
  2. If Status LED is off after powering up machine, there is likely an issue with the motor amplifier board.
  3. If Status LED is red 10 seconds after powering up the machine, there is likely an issue with the amplifier board, logic board, or cable between them.

Fuse

Fuse size based on machine model:

  1. 10A FUSE item 81152095 used on Vertex 261,341,342.
  2. 30A FUSE item 81152105 used on Excel 51X 70X, 90X, 130X, 170X, 2500.
