Locate and Measure Small Parts using Splines

This article shows how to create a robust system and measure small parts repeatable using a Closed Spline.

Instructions

The following steps give a summary of the basic workflow

1. create system based on Closest Edge point

2. create Closed Spline to trace perimeter of the part

3. create system at the centroid of the part

4. skew X or Y of system to distance between centroid and spline
