Change Load Position - F8 Button

InSpec Classic software has the ability to “Home” the stage by pressing the F8 button on the keyboard. When pressing F8 on the keyboard the machine moves to a loading position, which varies between Vertex and Excel systems.

The load position can be changed to a different camera/stage position following these steps:

  1. Open the Machine.ini file located by default in the following address: C:\ProgramData\Micro-Vu Corporation\InSpec for Windows\”MACHINE SERIAL NUMBER”

  2. Add to the Machine.ini file:

      [Alpha]

      Load Position X=Off

      Load Position Y=Min

      Load Position Z=Max

[PH2]

Load Position Y=Min

Load Position Z=Max

These are the values that can be set for each axis to control the load position:

Off - Do not move that specific axis

Min – At the negative limit (close to it)

Mid – Halfway between the limits of the machine

Max – At the positive limit (close to it)

### - Distance from the machine coordinate system in mm
