Replace E-Stop Button on Excel

If the E-Stop button on the machine displays any damage, it is recommended to replace the complete E-Stop button assembly.

Here are a few examples of the E-Stop button failure:

To replace the E-stop button, item number 7619192 is needed.

1. Power the machine off.

2. Move the machine to the +Y limit. 

3. Undo the two front screws of the right hand, front bellow. 

4. Unplug the two wire E-Stop cable.

5. Reach your hand under the cover and unthread the retaining nut that secures the Estop to the machine cover. 

6. Remove the E-Stop.

7. Unthread the retaining nut on the new stop.

8. Install the E-Stop into machine, noting the key and key slot in the cover.

9. Hand tighten the retaining nut under the cover.

10. Feed the cable through the hole in the sheet metal.

11. Plug the new estop into the receiving cable. 

12. Install back the 2 screws to the bellow.
