Create InSpec Classic Diagnostics File

This article will show you how to create an InSpec Classic diagnostics file (also called InSpec diag file). This file is used for debugging purposes and can be sent to a service agent in order to allow remote debugging of the machine.

Instructions

  1. Open InSpec Classic

  2. Click on help → Collect Diagnostics…

  3. Select Language: English

  4. Click on Save Diagnostics

  5. Select file location and click save

  6. Click OK in Finished dialog

     

  7. Close the InSpec Classic Diagnostics window

The saved InSpec Diag.zip file can be sent to an agent by using the Upload feature in the Service Portal → Technical support
