Installing Inboard Mast Covers on Excel 511, 512

1. All inboard X bellows should be installed at the end.

2. Install the REAR INBOARD MAST COVER using 3 button head screw 4 x 8 mm.

3. Install the FRONT INBOARD LEG COVER. Start with the two holes on the front of the cover to secure it to the rear cover, then secure the flanged bolts. Use 2 socket head cap screws 4x10x0.7 mm and 3 button head screws 4 x 8 mm

Make sure there is a gap away from the light table so the cover does not rub when moving in the Y direction.

4. Lower the INBOARD SIDE COVER onto the electronics enclosure and igus plate.

Install 6 socket head screws 6 x 12 x 1 mm, 3 in front and 3 in the rear.

Install 6 button head screws 4 x 8 mm on the bottom of the cover.

Drive the machine in all axes and make sure there is no rubbing of the covers. Adjust as necessary.

5. Install the Emergency Stop Button using the attached nut.
